​By early 1962, my father had been a pastor for eighteen years, but his desire had always been to write. His first two books had been published and a third manuscript was completed. Years later, when near death, he gave me instruction on his unpublished work.
How is one to consider the thought of Rousas John Rushdoony with regard to what is commonly called “philosophy”? Rushdoony’s thought belongs to a very different tradition, standing in the great line of Biblically grounded philosophy so ably illustrated by a Pierre Viret or a Johann Georg Hamann.
