The Coming of the Spirit

Christ’s witness was a local one, it was in Judea, and it was in Galilee, to all who came to hear Him. And our Lord says: ‘It is profitable that I go away, it is expedient, it is necessary for the purposes of God; so that now the third person of the Trinity, the Spirit, may come. And His witness will be to all men, so that they are without excuse.’ Nowhere, on no continent nor island, is there a man who is not being convicted by the Spirit.
