EC361: According to Goals 2000 human beings and children are considered human resources and the purpose of education now is to take this human resource, mold it, shape and train it to be used to serve the economy rather than the other way around. In a free society the economy serves the individual. In this case here we are creating a new, entirely new education system in which the individual serves the economy.
