Eschatology and Causality

The Bible tells us that God has a purpose in His creation, and He is always totally active. Moreover the Bible does not tell us that the universe is inevitably declining. Leviticus 26, Deuteronomy 28, tell us that when there is a moral decline there is a material decline, when there is a theological decline, an apostasy, there is a physical decline. But when there is a re-awakening, then there is a change. The world around us, the ground beneath our feet, the weather above us, all of them improve when people return to the Lord.
