Covenant Curses and Blessings

God’s covenant with man has penalties as well as rewards. Our relationship with God is a covenant relationship and therefore there is heaven and there is hell. As man to whom God in His grace has given His law is faithful to the Lord of the law and to his every written word he receives blessings and for his disobedience he receives curses. The curse of the law therefore and its penalties are upon all those who despise the Lord of the covenant and His law word.
