Communion & Community

Paul tells us in Romans 8:19-23 that the earnest expectation of all creatures and of all creation is the total liberation from sin and death into the fullness of communion and community with and under the triune God. God’s law is designed to further that goal. All the laws that we get in scripture concerning the earth and concerning the harvests make clear the goal of God. That God has as His purpose in the material world around us, in harvests, in everything we do, the movement towards that perfect community.
