Benediction

In these few verses, verses 19-27, Paul gives us three benedictions. We have one in verse 20, another in verse 24, and then verses 25-27 give us still another benediction. No man in the New Testament is more prone to bestowing benedictions then Saint Paul, and this is very significant. A benediction is pronounced, it is the blessing by someone in authority under God upon those in his care.
